The Łagiewnicka Route is part of the third ring road of Kraków. The investment will benefit not only drivers but also public transport passengers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
As emphasized by the Mayor of Kraków, Jacek Majchrowski, "(...) The investment is a flagship example of cooperation between the City of Kraków and national and European financing institutions. It is not only one of the most important investment projects in the history of Kraków but also undoubtedly the largest civil engineering task in the city's history."
As part of the Łagiewnicka Route, a 3.5 km long road section has been completed, with approximately 2 km running through tunnels, 1.7 km of tram route, 5 road junctions, 5.5 km of cycling infrastructure, and extensive recreational areas.
MGGP S.A. provided geodetic support for the investment, with Budimex SA acting as the general contractor. The total cost of the investment amounted to 840 million PLN.
