Investment supervision over the design and construction of the S17 expressway from Warsaw (w.Zakręt) to Garwolin, covering the section from the "Lubelska" interchange (excluding the interchange) to Garwolin (beginning of the bypass), which includes three parts:
Part 1 - from the "Lubelska" interchange to Kołbiel - approximately 15.151 km
Part 2 - Kołbiel bypass section - approximately 8.700 km
Part 3 - Kołbiel to Garwolin section - approximately 13.015 km
The project includes supervision over the development of design documentation and construction of the S17 expressway - a dual-carriageway road in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, which is a key component of Poland's modern transportation system.
The investment comprises three parts. The first part involved constructing a dual-carriageway route along with a network of connections to other public roads, as well as building bridges, viaducts, and intersections in the municipalities of Wiązowna, Otwock (town), and Celestynów. The next section of the road included constructing a bypass around the town of Kołbiel, which entailed building dual-carriageway roads, reconstructing local and access roads, interchanges, and road crossings, as well as traveler service areas. The final third segment focused on upgrading the current single-carriageway national road to the standards of a dual-carriageway road with limited access. This involved either constructing a second carriageway adjacent to the existing one or delineating a new alignment for the dual-carriageway road, ensuring traffic merges at interchanges and connections for local traffic between interchanges.
The above project contributed to improving the safety and driving comfort for transit traffic, local traffic, and enhanced communication by bypassing the roundabout in Kołbiel. This investment connected the capital of Poland with other centers within the country and neighboring states, which has had a beneficial impact on the country's economic development.
