Scope of the project: 68 kilometers
The contract involved preparing project documentation and tender materials for selecting a contractor for construction works, obtaining location decisions for the railway line, and establishing conditions for project implementation and construction permits, along with obtaining all necessary approvals related to the modernization of Railway Line No. 7. The railway line runs from Warsaw East Passenger Station to Dorohusk, the state-listed railway of national significance, situated along the new corridor of the Trans-European railway network connecting the Baltic Sea with the Black Sea.This project is part of the TINA (Trans-European Transport Network) and TEN (Trans-European Railway Network) programs, as well as TERFN (Trans-European Railway Freight Network), designated for freight rail transport, known as the "clearway."The main objective of the project was to align the infrastructure of Railway Line No. 7 with operational parameters specified in AGC and AGTC agreements, including passenger train speeds up to V=160 km/h, freight train speeds up to V=120 km/h, and maximum axle load of 221 kN for tracks and up to 245 kN for engineering structures, as well as compliance with European interoperability systems.
