Obwodnica Strzyżowa is a six-kilometer single-carriageway road classified as a G-class road with two traffic lanes, each 3.5 meters wide. It stands as the largest road investment financially executed under the Regional Operational Program of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The total cost of the investment exceeded 114 million PLN. Within the project, over 6 kilometers of provincial road were constructed, along with 3 roundabouts, 5 bridges (3 over the Wisłok River and one each over the Stobnica River and Różanka stream), 5 road viaducts, 3 agricultural crossings, a pedestrian underpass beneath the bypass, culverts, and access roads. Additionally, measures were taken to secure landslide-prone areas, construct sidewalks at intersections, install lighting at roundabout intersections, build environmental protection devices, install stormwater management systems, construct road drainage systems, modify or secure all conflicting external infrastructure, install road markings, and implement road safety devices. The bypass was officially opened on January 31, 2020.
The scope of services provided by MGGP S.A. during the construction included comprehensive geodetic support, which involved: establishing and measuring the reference network, geodetic determination of the positions of buildings and other accompanying infrastructure, marking out and conducting post-construction inventory of underground utilities, ongoing geodetic support during construction works, preparation of post-construction inventory reports, stabilization of boundary points and witnesses along the road corridor, and preparation of the final inventory of the completed investment.
