First decision for the Baltic Pipe.

On May 15th of this year, the Governor of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, Zbigniew Hoffmann, issued a location decision for the construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline from Goleniów to Lwówek, which is one of the components of the Baltic Pipe project aimed at creating a new gas supply corridor from Norway and thereby strengthening our country's energy security. This is the first location decision obtained for the Baltic Pipe project. As the voivode emphasized, "the investment will ultimately enable the creation of a new route for natural gas supplies from Norway to the Danish and Polish markets and to end users in neighboring countries." The decision was issued for the benefit of the Investor, which is the Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. The Goleniów-Lwówek gas pipeline will be approximately 191 km long, with a nominal diameter of 1000 mm and a maximum operating pressure of 8.4 MPa. The project contractor for the gas pipeline is MGGP S.A., which will also be responsible for providing author's supervision for the investment.
