The bypass of Iłża on the national road DK9

The main goal of the investment was to redirect transit traffic away from urban areas, which was particularly burdensome for residents. The construction of the bypass relieved built-up areas from heavy traffic and simultaneously increased travel safety by reducing the number of intersections and eliminating direct property accesses to the road. As part of the project, at least 7 km of national road were constructed along with 9 bridge structures.
MGGP S.A.'s task under this contract was to provide comprehensive geodetic services. The scope of services included: establishing and measuring the control network for the entire section, conducting an inventory of the initial condition of the road corridor, staking out objects and inventorying disappearing works, acceptance surveys of construction layers, measurement for settlement calculations, ongoing geodetic support for bridge structures, and monitoring settlement of structures.
After the completion of the construction works, a final inventory and as-built map were prepared.
